Behind The Scenes Photos 1

The Artist had a busy March that I detailed in a previous post (follow the link) http://dadager.blogspot.com/2013/03/what-kind-of-teen-is-artist.html

One of the larger projects he worked on was "Long Way Down".  His scenes were shot at a couple of different locations in Pasadena.  The first location was in the shadow of The Rose Bowl.  The other location was a motel in downtown Pasadena.

Yes, he got a sunburn that day.

Zach plays a teen troublemaker in the film.

He is waiting on the "action" cue to start shooting his costar (on the other side of the wall) with a (plastic) gun full of water.

While it appears they're discussing their scene motivation between takes, I'm pretty sure this was a VERY LONG video game discussion.

Checking out the playback of the scene they just filmed.

He looks ready to shoot!

Getting his instructions from the crew.

His other big project of the month was "House Arrest".  The two movies shot at the same time.  One was in Pasadena and the other was in Bellflower.

The distance from Sherman Oaks to Bellflower is 30 miles.  The distance from Sherman Oaks to Pasadena is 19 miles.

If you want the distance from Bellflower to Pasadena in California terms, the distance is:

*The 605 to the 5 to the 2 to the 134 to the 210

or

*The 605 to the 210

or

*The 105 to the 710 to the 210

No matter which route you take from Bellflower to Pasadena, it's quite the haul in Los Angeles traffic.  It was worth it because Zach had a great time doing both films.  The "House Arrest" photo below is one of my favorite pictures of The Artist at work.  He looks relaxed and ready to go when the cameras roll!

For once, that is not fake Hollywood beer!

I'll have more photos this week including some from various Hollywood movie studios!
